Training & background:
Mr James Gardner-Thorpe is a Consultant General Surgeon at Northern General Hospital, with a private practice at Claremont.
Having trained at Cambridge, Liverpool, and Leeds, he qualified as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in General Surgery and completed specialist training in hepato-pancreato-biliary (bile duct, gallbladder, liver and pancreas) conditions. He is a Consultant Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield.
Mr Gardner-Thorpe's care philosophy is to provide state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary care for patients in a timely, professional and caring manner.
