Claremont supporting mental health bike ride on 6th October
Mental Health charity Recovery Enterprises are holding the inaugural sponsored ’RE:Cycle Ride’ cycle challenge on the 6th October with routes through the stunning Peak District landscape. Claremont has been helping to spread word about the RE:Cycle Ride - and encourages anyone who cycles to sign up and enter the cycle ride.
Recovery Enterprises, based in Sheffield, helps to support people with mental health needs to develop enterprising ideas to benefit their mental health and to enable them to fulfil their ambitions.
Event organiser Tom Newman says ''the bike ride will offer a challenge for all abilities with routes of 20, 60 and 100 miles, all taking in the beautiful Peak District scenery. We welcome cyclists to sign up enter the ride, to support a good cause and to show they are positive about mental health at the same”.
Recovery Enterprises welcomes Claremont staff, friends and patients to jump on board their bikes and get involved. For information on the RE:Cycle Ride and to sign up go to www.recoveryenterprises.co.uk, entry closes on September 29th (no entries after this time). The three different routes set off at different times during the day, all routes start from Fulwood in Sheffield.
Entries before the closing date will be entered into a free prize draw to win cycle related books and maps from Vertebrate Publishing.
